How does Mollom detect human spammers, who generally are able to validate whatever captcha is presented to them.

For spamming comments extensions on Joomla, both human and robotic spammers generally spam with similar content by inserting a bunch of urls in the comment. Is Mollom able to analyze content as well?

Moovur Dashboard

Hi All,

Moovur has been working 100% on my site since it was released. But after the clock hit 2010, I've noticed that in the Moovur Dashboard that I only can view dates from back in 2009. the timeline shows from 27.March 2009 - 20 January 2010, but no graphics displays for January.
Also since mid Desember there have actually been acouple of successfull spam comments in my articles. This hadn't happend before, cloud it be that with the latest Joomla 1.5.15 releases that I upgraded to probably sometime in November 2009, that Moovur doesn't work 100% anymore?
I can provide an image if that would be helpfull!

In firefox 3.5.7 don't show the captcha and in IE8 shows the captcha in log in but not in registration form...

Hello, I went to the admin backend in my joomla site and looked at the PHPInfo. It shows Safe Mode is set tp OFF. But I don't see any listing for Curl in the list. Do I need to install the Curl? And where can i find the program?

I have the Free Basic Captha installed on two of my sites to test. One site is working on the user registration but the captha does not appear on the contact form. On the other site no capthas show up on either the user registration or the contact form.

Another problem, and I am using Fire Fox as my browser, I get a prompt for a need browser plug in and have not idea which one or where to get it.

Any help would be appreciated. I really like your product and hope I can get these issues fixed. if we can I will usd your premium level on other projects I have.

The installation went well, but when I set the keys at the dashboard, I get the following error:

Jomsocial keeps changing the logic. We have asked the maintainers of Jomsocial to take care of the changes also for Jomsocial, so far we have not see this happen. We will drop Jomsocial support when we release the stable because we cannot keep up with the changes in Jomsocial.

I know JCalPro, but I am not familiair if Moovur is intergrated into JCalPro. By default we do not provide support for JCalPro, can you tell me if this is the case?

Hi,

We have requested jomsocial to maintain the Moovur plugin, so far we have not see then doing so. Since Jomsocial changes the logic without noticing us prior to the change, it is undoable for us to keep up with those changes.

We will discontinue the Jomsocial plugin when we release the stable version of Moovur.

Can you please verify if CURL is really installed. Please validate the PHP information from the Joomla backend help->systeminfo->phpinformation.

You should see a section with information like below (taken from the Moovum site).

The installer verifies through a basic PHP function check if CURL is installed. If this is the case (please verify), we need to further investigate why the installer is refusing to install Moovur.
